STEPHEN GUNTHER, PRINCIPAL

Stephen Gunther joined New Urban West, Inc. in 1977 and became President in 1984. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkley Law School. Prior to New Urban West, Inc., he was the President of the Boss Group, Los Angeles from 1971 to 1977. From 1965 to 1969, he was a Deputy Attorney General with the State of California.

GLENN CARDOSO, PRINCIPAL

In addition to his responsibilities at New Urban West, Inc., Glenn Cardoso was 1997 President of the Los Angeles/Ventura chapter of the Building Industry Association (BIA). He has also been President of the Governmental Affairs Council for the BIA of Southern California. Previously, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of the California Division of Leisure Technology Corporation, a nationwide developer of adult and recreational communities. He also spent seven years as Vice President of Marketing Design, responsible for al product development at the Donald L. Bren Company.

MICHAEL WARREN, PRESIDENT & CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER

Michael Warren, President and Chief Operation Officer and Chartered Accountant (Canada), joined New Urban West, Inc. in 1988. Previously, he spent seventeen years with Cadillac Fairview Corporation in various senior financial and development positions in Toronto, South Florida and Southern California.

TOM ZANIC, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT

Tom Zanic is Senior Vice President and has been with New Urban West, Inc. since 1983. He graduated from UCLA Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning with a master’s degree in urban planning and has been responsible for the planning and entitlements for thousands of homes in planned communities throughout Southern California. Mr. Zanic has been appointed to numerous positions in state and local government including Legislative Assistant in the California State Senate, Chief Planner of the South Central Regional Coastal Commission, and Senior Planner for the County of Ventura.

ADAM BROWNING, VICE PRESIDENT

Adam Browning started work at New Urban West, Inc. in 1987. He received a degree in Economics/Business from the University of California, Los Angeles. From 2003 to 2008 Mr. Browning’s founded and was the President of Second Street Ventures, Inc. an urban residential and commercial development company in Los Angeles. He returned to New Urban West, Inc in 2009. His positions at New Urban West, Inc. and Second Street Ventures have exposed him to all aspects of both the residential and commercial development businesses.

JASON HAN, VICE PRESIDENT

Jason Han is responsible for identifying new investment opportunities and oversees all aspects of execution: Acquisition, Entitlements, Project Development, Construction, Sales & Marketing. Before joining New Urban West, Mr. Han was with Ernst & Young/Kenneth Leventhal consulting national builders and developer and operated his own development consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Southern California and a Master in Design Studies in Real Estate and Urban Development from Harvard University.
